Civil Engineering Department has come a long way since its inception in this institution, under Private organization with a modest start in the year 1956. Since then it has come a long way in catering to the need of human resources in various Government, Public sector and private organizations as well.
Civil Engineering department has got Six numbers of laboratories with all latest of equipment's to meet the academic as well as the research needs of the department. The laboratories are fully equipped with various modern sophisticated equipment's Universal Testing Machine, Compression Testing Machine, Los Angel's Abrasion Testing Machine, Digital Triaxial Testing Machine, Digital Theodolite, and Auto level Highlights of different laboratories are given below:
The department has an enviable record in the area of revenue generation scheme with work for testing and consultancy with the help of its highly qualified faculty. The department is fully armed to take up testing of various civil engineering materials e.g. Cement, Brick, Aggregate, Soil, Steel etc. Over the years it has been able to find a niche for itself as well as for the institution in the heart of various Government and Private Organizations.
